Resource lists are simple text files with a DER extension. Access save/load from the right-click menus on the texture/object tabs, or from the file menu. - More rendering settings in settings dialog. - Outline display; right click a 3d view to access, or when in textured mode, press 'L'. - Ctrl+E does a default extrude, using the settings from the extrude dialog if you checkmarked the save option. - Lots more room properties like fog, mirrors, ambient sounds, damage, and wind; but wind will only work for users of Descent 3 v1.1. - Lots more control over lighting! - Tons of new texture alignment features! - You can now place soundsource objects. These are just like regular objects, except they are invisible and give off a sound of your choice. - You can now place waypoints in your level, which determine where a respawning player will appear (for single-player levels). - Custom grid sizes. - Player start team flags. - Gravity edit. - Features for moving or scaling the mine. - Procedural textures like water now display correctly (though a few will show up as the "Outrage Test" texture. - File drag & drop (makes opening up multiple ORFs a lot easier). ______________________ 2.
